Converse

Converse was founded in 1908 by Marquis Mills Converse as the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. Initially, the Converse Rubber Shoe Company produced rubber based sneakers for casual daily wear before creating their first atheltic tennis shoe in 1915 and the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Basketball sneaker in 1917. Nike acquired Converse in 2003 and the brand continues to release classic sneakers which include the Jack Purcell, the Pro Leather, and the Weapon all of which have become fashion staples.
